Satellite Platforms

 

Antrix offers to customers the various satellite platforms developed by ISRO over the years.  These include, the highly proven INSAT/ GSAT platforms, viz., I-1K (1000 kg class), I-2K (2000 kg class) and I-3K (upto 3500 kg class), with varying payload and power configurations.

Antrix also offers reliable solutions for a variety of Earth Observations missions with the proven heritage of Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites for land, ocean and atmospheric observations.  This includes the versatile IMS-2 (350 kg class) platform.

Antrix, in alliance with EADS Astrium (presently Airbus Defence & Space), France, has earlier delivered the following satellites to international customers:
• ‘W2M’ based on I-3K satellite platform for EUTELSAT, Paris (32 Ku transponders, 3460 kg mass, launch: 20 December 2008); and
• ‘Hylas’ based on I-2K satellite platform for Avanti Plc, UK (2 Ku, 6 Ka transponders, 2100 kg mass, launch: 26 November 2010).
